On Thursday 5 September, we’ll be celebrating our second annual Giving Day, both online and on campus. After an incredible result last year, where we surpassed our $350,000 goal, we’re setting our sights even higher this year. There are a number of activation events across our campuses that staff and students can get involved with to "win" extra funds for their chosen Giving Day causes.
Giving Day 2024 – call for projects needing funding
After its success in 2023, Giving Day will return in 2024. This year our community can submit a proposal for a project that needs philanthropic support. Successful proposals will be listed as a featured cause on Giving Day. To submit a project proposal for consideration please complete the online form by Monday 18 March.

Last Tuesday we held the University’s first ever Giving Day. This was an opportunity to celebrate the strength of our community and the power of philanthropy to foster unity and positive change.

Today is our first Giving Day. It is an important day in the University calendar, and one I have been championing since becoming Vice-Chancellor. This day encapsulates the spirit of giving, unity, and positive change, and allows us to celebrate the generosity and commitment of our community.

On Tuesday 31 October the University of Adelaide will hold its inaugural Giving Day. Giving Day is a 24-hour fundraising challenge where our community has fun, raises awareness and makes a gift to the cause they are most passionate about at the University of Adelaide.
