Casual engagement essentials

These sessions will provide information about the obligations and various strategies that can be used to support our casual workforce. Attendance is strongly encouraged for timesheet validators, supervisors and hiring managers of casual staff, but is open to anyone else involved in the casual engagement process. End of year closedown period

The University will close for business from Wednesday 25 December 2024, and will reopen on Thursday 2 January 2025. More information.

PeopleSoft HR upgrade

PeopleSoft HR will undergo a maintenance upgrade between 8 pm Friday 31 May and 9 am Monday 3 June. PeopleSoft HR and Staff Services Online, including casual timesheets, will be unavailable during this time. Please clear your browser cache if you experience any issues after the upgrade is complete.

Academic promotion applications to Level D

Academic staff wishing to apply for promotion to Level D are now invited to submit their online applications by 5.00 pm Monday 24 June. To apply and for further information, visit Academic Promotions.

Special Studies Program 2025

Applications from academic staff for the 2025 Special Studies Program are open until Friday 31 May. Visit the SSP webpage to apply. If you have any questions, please call the HR Service Centre on 8313 1111 or use the online enquiry form.

Academic Promotion applications

Academic staff wishing to apply for promotion to Level B or Level C, are now invited to submit their applications. Online applications must be submitted by 5 pm on Monday 27 May. An online Q&A session will be held on Thursday 4 April for all academics applying for promotion to level B, level C or level D. For further information and to register.

Easter long weekend early HR processing timelines

Early timesheet submission and validation deadline applies for any casual work undertaken from 9 March to 22 March. Further information available here.

Self health check machine

All staff and students are welcome to attend the free health measure machine at Hub Central, North Terrace campus from 19 February to 19 March. A station will also be situated at the Waite and Roseworthy Hubs from 1 March to 1 April. No bookings required.
