Consultation on Flexible Work Arrangement Procedure
Human Resources has undertaken a review of the Working From Home Guidelines and the University’s flexible work approach. A staff consultation period to provide feedback on the proposed Flexible Work Arrangement Procedure is now open. View and comment on the draft here until COB Friday 4 August 2023.

Prescribed positions
Staff working in prescribed positions, and their supervisors, are reminded to ensure that a current Working with Children Check is held and recorded in Staff Services Online. Further information.
New Casual Engagement User Guides
New Casual Engagement User Guides have been developed to assist casual staff members and hiring managers/supervisors to manage the casual engagement process. View the guides on the CAPS website for Casual Staff and for Hiring Managers.
Workplace Gender Equality Agency Reporting
In accordance with the requirements of the Workplace Gender Equality Act 2012 , the University has lodged its annual public report with the Workplace Gender Equality Agency. Comments on the report can be made by contacting the HR Service Centre or the agency. Please refer to the Agency’s guidelines on this process via their website.

Preliminary feedback for Academic Integrity Policy
The Academic Integrity Policy is to be reviewed. As a preliminary step, feedback is being sought from the University community on any potential enhancements to the current policy. Written feedback should be sent to EPC@adelaide.edu.au by COB 7 July.

Clarification of MACA Policy’s Additional Assessments clauses
There appears to be some difference in interpretation by staff in the application of the Additional Assessment Procedure clauses 4g and 4e in the MACA Policy when dealing with student cases of academic misconduct. Review here.

Special Studies Program

Contractor Engagement Process
Staff who are directly involved in the engagement and payment of contractors are strongly encouraged to attend an information session demonstrating the new contractor engagement processes. Tuesday 27 June, 11 am to 12 pm. Napier G04 Lecture Theatre, North Terrace campus. More information.
Free on-campus flu program
This is the last chance for staff to book on-campus flu vaccinations at Waite and North Terrace campuses or the Adelaide Health and Medical Sciences building. If you are unable to attend on campus you can still book in at a pharmacy until the end of June. Bookings available.
