Casual professional timesheets for staff who are students
To comply with new minimum engagement provisions of the Enterprise Agreement, a field has been added to the timesheet for casual professional staff who are also current students of the University. From the pay period commencing 18 November 2023, students will be asked to declare whether they have been on campus for 3 hours or more on their days of work to ensure they are paid correctly. Planned PeopleSoft HR upgrade
Peoplesoft HR will undergo a maintenance upgrade between 8 pm Friday 17 November and 9 am Monday 20 November. Service interruptions will be experienced for PeopleSoft HR, Staff Services Online, and CAPS. Please clear your browser cache if you experience any issues after the upgrades are complete. End of year early HR processing timelines
HR processing timelines in the lead up to the end of year University Christmas closedown period are now available on the HR website. Processing timelines include recruitment and timesheet submission, and validation deadlines for casual and ITDS staff members. Further details are available in HR News.
PDR final reviews
Planning, Development and Review (PDR) final review meetings should take place between Monday 6 November and Friday 22 December 2023. This is an important time to reflect on work achievements and share constructive feedback. More information.
Free staff health and skin checks
The warmer weather is coming and now is a great time to have an annual check of your skin. Mind and body health checks are available with appointments commencing from 1 November on varying dates to early December at North Terrace, Waite and Roseworthy campuses. More information.
Managing psychosocial hazards in the workplace
All managers and supervisors have access to a free 20 minute video to learn more about the responsibilities in managing employee mental health and psychosocial hazards. Access will expire on Friday 10 November. Schedule in time in your calendar and register for access today. Register.

October is Safe Work Month and is themed ‘For everyone’s safety, work safely’.
