Conditionals and Visualisation in Excel
This hands-on workshop will cover some advanced features of Excel, such as how to apply some conditional analysis to glean greater insights from your data. Data capture and surveys with REDCap
Would you like to enable secure and reliable data collection forms and manage online surveys? Would your study benefit from web-based data entry? Research Electronic Data Capture might be for you. This course will introduce you to REDCap, a rapidly evolving web tool developed by researchers for researchers. Wednesday 20 August, 1.30–4.30 pm. Online. Register.

The Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency (TEQSA) has released three guidance notes for consultation: Course approval and accreditation, Orientation and progression, and Qualifications and certification. Feedback may be submitted to consultation@teqsa.gov.au, closing 22 August.
Neurodivergent study skill workshops for semester 2
Registrations are now open for the neurodivergent study skills workshops for semester 2. Workshops are taught from a neuro-affirming and strength-based approach by a neurodivergent facilitator. These workshops are open to all students, no matter their diagnosis status, and students do not need to be registered with Disability Support to attend. Share the full program with your students.

One in 200 people in Australia are experiencing homelessness on any given night, including a large number of children and young people. University of Adelaide and UniSA are coming together on Thursday 21 August for the Vinnies Community Sleepout 2025. A limited print run of the 2025 Pocket Statistics is now available for distribution. Produced every year as a companion document to the University’s Annual Report, it provides a handy three-year time series of student, staff, research and finance statistics for the University of Adelaide, based on Australian Government statutory data collections.
