Union House function room guides
New guides for Union House function rooms are available to download. Guides provide essential information on catering, liquor licensing, room setup, security, access, cleaning, AV, and caretaker assistance. Currently, function rooms are only available to staff and students, however bookings will open to external guests later in the year. More information.
Textbooks in course readings lists
Reminder to include required textbooks in the textbook section of your Course Readings list, and to add the ‘Textbook’ tag to required texts only. The Library defines a textbook as a prescribed core reading and is integrated into course curriculum or referred to regularly throughout a course. Further information.
Learn to program: Python for Researchers
Python has become a popular language for scientific computing and among researchers, but getting started can be challenging, especially if you have never programmed before. In this introductory live coding workshop, we will use Jupyter notebooks to write programs and produce results. Tuesday 4 and Wednesday 5 March. Online. Register.
