Hatton Award recipient: Dr Sonia Nath
Dr Sonia Nath from the Adelaide Dental School won the postdoctoral category of the prestigious Hatton Competition at the International Association for Dental Research's conference in New Orleans. The award recognises excellence in oral health research by early career researchers. Sonia's presentation was entitled Super Donor Assessment Tool for Oral Microbiome Transplantation.
Festival of Learning and Teaching registrations now open

Audio Visual refresh
Aligned to work being done to maintain excellence in learning and teaching, identified common teaching spaces across the Waite, Roseworthy and North Terrace campuses, including AHMS, are scheduled for a refresh of AV equipment between 27 May and 19 July. More information.
Register for Visualise Your Thesis
Registrations are now open for the 2024 Visualise Your Thesis competition. HDRs are challenged to present their research in a 60 second visual display. First prize wins $1,000 and the winner will go on to compete in the international online competition. To register your interest, visit Visualise Your Thesis.

Edit PDF files with Adobe Creative Cloud
University of Adelaide paid staff (excluding titleholders, visitors and affiliates) have access to Adobe Creative Cloud Pro, featuring tools for editing PDF files, graphic design, video editing and more. Strategic Conference Round 1 Applications announced
Round 1 outcomes of the Strategic Conference Sponsorship Fund have been announced. Five conferences across all three Faculties were selected to be supported. The conferences selected are listed on the website. There will be a second application round opening in July.

The Research and Research Training Domain is holding a virtual town hall on Thursday 9 May from 3:00 – 4:00 pm via Zoom. This event is open to all staff who are interested in staying informed on key research activities leading up to our transition to the new Adelaide University.
