Back to the sharehouse

During the COVID-19 isolation period, I've been staying at my parents' house. I retreated there because I no longer needed to be near the city for uni and work. Also my parents' house has better heating, is way cleaner and has better food (thanks Dad for cooking!).

But the time has come for me to venture back to my share-house after many weeks of absence.

It's going to be a readjustment period for sure. I'm going to have to get used to the mess again, and the fact that my house is always freezing cold in winter. I'm going to have to remember how to cook for myself again.

But I'm also so excited! I can't wait to see my housemates again and share some pizza in front of a movie. I'm looking forward to the freedom of living out of home: the ability to do whatever I want, whenever I want. Most of all, I'm looking forward to having my own space.

What will my journey back to the share-house bring? Only time can tell.
