Nostalgia: Getting back into the 2010s

Cleaning out some of my stuff today I found an old So Fresh CD that took me back down memory lane.

I don't know about you but my memories of the 2010s are ones of fighting with my siblings over who got to use the latest So Fresh CD and passive aggressively turning up our boomboxes to establish dominance over the music.

I find it kind of weird, not using CDs anymore, which I know makes me sound really old. But I have always liked having the physical thing there like a book or movie because they are a physical reminder. You can order them on your shelf in very aesthetically pleasing ways. Things like that just get lost in the digital world, I rarely flick through the apps, old photos or liked music on my phone.

Anyway, finding some of these old songs made me feel a little bit lighter this week despite all the exam stress and I wanted to share my top 10 classic pop songs of the 2010s so maybe you can look them up on YouTube or Spotify and go down memory lane as well…

  1. Airplanes (B.O.B and Hayley Williams of Paramore)

  3. We found love (Rhianna)
  4. Can’t Hold Us (Macklemore and Ryan Lewis)
