Journaling is a very beneficial hobby that can reduce stress levels and improve your mental health. So, here are twenty journal prompt ideas that will allow you to write out all of your thoughts and get to know yourself better:

  1. What are you grateful for?
  2. What is a lesson you learnt recently?
  3. Write a letter to your future self. This could be dedicated for a month in the future, a year, or even five years.
  4. What are the main dreams and goals you want to accomplish in your lifetime?
  5. What makes you happy?
  6. What was your last dream about?
  7. What makes you feel inspired?
  8. What is your biggest regret? Or something you don't regret?
  9. Write a list of your favourite movies, tv shows, or songs.
  10. What is one of your favourite memories?
  11. What are you proud of yourself for?
  12. What is a challenge you've had to overcome recently?
  13. Write a letter to someone in your life that you really care about.
  14. What are your stressed or anxious about?
  15. Where do you see yourself in a year? Or five years?

  17. What is your favourite song at the moment, and what do the lyrics mean to you?
