A guide to the new Study Overseas website
Our new website is live! We've worked on making it easier to navigate for our students, with less clicking to find the information you need, more photos (taken by our students!), and more information on support services and who to contact for help.
See below for the essential information you need to know about the new website.
On the home page of our website, you will find announcements, information about overseas opportunities, information for current student applicants, and a feed of our most recent News articles.
To open the menu for the website, you will need to click the icon on the right, as circled in red below.
Once you open the site menu, it will look like this.
Here's a brief breakdown of what's on each page in the menu:
Study Overseas basics
Your one-stop shop for the essential information you need to know before you start exploring programs.
Explore our programs
We have 3 types of programs: our 2 overseas offerings Exchange and Short Programs, and Global IQ Connect, our on-campus option for getting your international experience. On this page you can also browse opportunities by program type and location.
Register your program
If your program is not one of the above program types, please register it here. These can be study abroad, internships, placements, overseas research, and non-credit programs. These links will take you through to GLAS to register your program.
All the information you need regarding funding, including OS-HELP, Government grants, and scholarships.
Not sure what's expected of you once you've started an application? This page contains essential information on everything from gaining credit to information for students with disabilities.
Find out what Study Overseas students are up to, and stay updated with any important announcements. We have more information on the News Feed at the end of this article.
This page has links to information about becoming a Study Overseas Ambassador, joining Global IQ Connect, engaging with the Careers Service, entering competitions, and joining the Exchange Student Network club.
Faculty and Advisors
Easily find the contact details you need to communicate with your Faculty about your Study Overseas experience.

The News Feed is the new destination for all student articles and announcements. Replacing our old blog, the News Feed is the home to our Study Overseas Alumni and Student Experience series, interviews with scholarship recipients, notices about information sessions and events, and other announcements for all students.
You can filter the News Feed by type of post, country, Faculty, or funding.
We hope you enjoy our new website - please get in contact with us if you have any questions!
