Cricket remains one of the great traditions at the University, but things do change with time. Lumen compared notes with Chris Owen, who played for the Blacks in the 1980s and returned in the ‘90s to lead them to a premiership, and Bonny Miller, current co-captain of the University of Adelaide women’s team.

Tamson's path to academia

2003 Rhodes Scholar Tamson Pietsch nurtured her love of ideas and scholarship during her undergraduate days at the University of Adelaide. Whole afternoons spent in the Union Building, drinking coffee and debating ‘the big questions of life’ with fellow students set her on the path to a career in academia.
