Information Management and Governance

The revised Information Management and Governance Policy was approved by the Vice-Chancellor and President on 5 August 2024, effective immediately. Concurrently approved is a new Information Management and Governance Framework. Together the Policy and Framework articulate a consistent enterprise-wide approach to both Information Governance and Information Management guided by a key set of information principles, information management best practice standards, as well as the University’s legal and regulatory compliance obligations. Most importantly it describes the responsibilities of all Personnel with respect to the creation, maintenance, disposal and accessibility of Information Assets.
