International Transgender Day of Visibility
Monday 31 March is the International Transgender Day of Visibility (TDOV). This annual event celebrates trans pride and awareness, recognising the experiences and achievements of transgender, gender diverse, and non-binary individuals. The University sees this day as an opportunity to honour and celebrate the trans and gender diverse community, while also highlighting the ongoing need for inclusion and the fight against discrimination.
How can our people increase their understanding of transgender, gender diverse and non-binary experiences?

Consider undertaking Ally Network training: The University’s Ally Network is comprised of staff and students who support LGBTQIA+ individuals, promoting a safe and inclusive environment. The network provides support and advocacy, and members are welcome to join at any time.
