The Australia-Korea Foundation Grant
The Australia-Korea Foundation (AKF) 2025-26 Grant round is now open. Applications close on 30 April 2025.
The AKF provides grants to organisations and individuals to deliver projects that strengthen the Australia-Korea relationship in ways that enhance mutual understanding and people-to-people links. The AKF grants are administered by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
The AKF has identified the following priority areas:
1. Cross cultural collaborations including but not limited to arts, society, history, cultural events and sporting events,
2. Technological, scientific and education innovation,
3. Trade, agriculture, and business collaborations, including increasing Australian business literacy of doing business with Korea and vice versa, and
4. Strategic international relations that build linkages and promote public discourse on bilateral, economic and broader geostrategic issues.

The AKF was established by the Australian Government to promote bilateral relations between Korea and Australia.
