TEQSA guidance notes

The Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency (TEQSA) has released two new guidance notes (GN): Learning resources and education support and Staffing. The Staffing GN is a major revision to help ensure there is requisite workforce planning and oversight of staffing arrangements and that both academic and professional staff have sufficient knowledge, skill, resources, qualifications or experience to provide adequate support to students and lead them towards expected learning outcomes.

The revised Learning Resources and Educational Support GN provides updated guidance for the University to assure it is providing relevant and up-to-date learning materials that are accessible to all students, aligned with learning outcomes. It also ensures students receive timely training (including orientation) and that educational support services are available and cater to the diverse needs of various student cohorts.
