Data manipulation and visualisation in R
If you have a good knowledge of the basic concepts and techniques in R and want to level up, this workshop will teach you how to use popular packages to manipulate, explore and get insights from your data, and how to visualise the results. Advance HE Fellowship support sessions
In the Fellowship support program, you will engage in three Zoom sessions which will guide you through the process of writing your application. Past participants in the program found the encouragement and support of peers to be very motivating. The 2025 Country Impact Snapshots for Canada, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong SAR, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines, UK, USA and Vietnam are now available. These snapshots provide an overview of the breadth of our collaboration in a particular country, including strategic insights and case studies.
Traversing t tests in R
This workshop aims to familiarise you with basic statistical concepts in R from reading in and manipulating data, checking assumptions, statistical tests and visualisations. This is not an advanced statistics course, but is instead designed to gently introduce statistical comparisons and hypothesis testing in R. Tuesday 29 April, 9.30 am to 12.30 pm. Online. Register.
Exploring ANOVAs in R
This workshop covers one and two-way Analyses of Variance (ANOVA) and their non-parametric counterparts in R. We will be using a real-world dataset to better understand the tests, what assumptions need to be checked and other associated concepts. Thursday 1 May, 9.30 am to 12.30 pm. Online. Register.
