Fourteen First Nations students will graduate from the University of Adelaide this semester, and their accomplishments were celebrated at a special event hosted by Wirltu Yarlu, the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Unit at the University. Read more.

Email security and phishing

The University system handles around 400,000 emails every day. While some of these are malicious and can cause harm to you and the University, and are blocked, some may get through. Learn more about protecting yourself from email scams and phishing attacks here.

Women's Recreational Running Network

Join the Women's Recreational Running Network every Tuesday and Thursday, 5.15 pm, at the University Footbridge for a 5 or 3 km run or walk. Attend 4 or more runs during October as part of our Mental Health Awareness Challenge and go into the draw to win free running gear. More information.

Self-service health check machines

During September you can get a free health check using the SISU machines located in Hub Central at North Terrace campus, Student Hub at Roseworthy campus or Beltana Cafe at Waite campus. Measurements include blood pressure, heart rate, body fat percentage, height, weight, perceived stress and diabetes risk. More information.

Strata Management Challenge

ThincLab is supporting an initiative to rethink the way that strata communities are managed in residential developments large and small. Program Student Experience of Learning and Teaching survey

Evaluation is a central component of professional development, course/program development and the University's quality assurance process. One of the major evaluation tools used at the University is the Student Experience of Learning and Teaching (SELT) system. This year's Program SELT survey is open from Monday 2 September to Sunday 22 September. More information

2025 New Colombo Plan Mobility Program round open

Applications are open for academic and professional staff to apply for New Colombo Plan Mobility Program funding to support Australian undergraduate students’ participation in study, language training, internships, practicums and research in the Indo-Pacific region. Projects must be a minimum of 28 days duration, up to a full semester. Internal application deadline is Monday 23 September, 9 am. For details email short.programs@adelaide.edu.au

Images of Learning and Teaching competition - extended

The due date for 2024 Images of Learning and Teaching competition entries has been extended until Sunday 15 September. Entries are welcome from all students and staff to celebrate the diversity, innovation, and creativity of the learning and teaching at the University. More information.
