Don Dunstan Foundation
Associate Professor Megan Moskos (School of Economics and Public Policy) has been appointed as a member of the Committee of Management for the Don Dunstan Foundation.
Future Industry Making Fellows
Professor Heike Ebendorff-Heidepriem (Institute for Photonics and Advanced Sensing) and Associate Professor Johan Verjans (Australian Institute for Machine Learning) have been awarded Future Industry Making Fellowships (FMIFs) jointly funded by the University and the South Australian State Government.
ANZIAM medals
Dr Luke Bennetts and Professor Tony Roberts (School of Computer and Mathematical Sciences) have been awarded the 2023 Tuck and ANZIAM medals respectively from the Australian and New Zealand Industrial and Applied Mathematics society.
ARC College of Experts
Eight professors and associate professors from the University of Adelaide have been selected by the ARC for College of Experts 2023 membership.
Emerging Artist of the Year Award
Pianist Shawn Hui, current Bachelor of Music (Honours) student at the Elder Conservatorium of Music, was awarded the Emerging Artist of the Year Award at the 2022 Adelaide Critics Circle Awards. Shawn has performed widely as a Recitals Australia Fellowship Artist in 2022.

Professor Joanne Bowen and Mr Lachlan Coleman have been elected to the University Council for a two-year term from 6 March 2023 - 5 March 2025. More information

Pro Vice-Chancellor (Research Excellence)
Professor Laura Parry has been appointed as the Pro Vice-Chancellor (Research Excellence) within the Division of Research and Innovation. The primary role is to assist in implementing and evolving strategy to enhance research outcomes; promote research excellence, impact, productivity and revenue growth; and support research integrity and compliance.
NCP Scholarship winners
Two University of Adelaide undergraduates are set to expand their horizons as they head to universities in the Indo-Pacific region under the New Colombo Plan (NCP). Judah Tan will be studying in Japan and Jocelyn Lee in South Korea. Read more
