Children’s University students learn to brush right with “Brush It and Crush It” Program
Widening Participation in action: When our University students take health education into schools, especially those serving marginalised communities, children see relatable role models, get practical tools for healthier lives, and start to picture university as a place for “kids like me”. At the same time, they gain real-world experience communicating clearly, working alongside communities, and building the confidence to serve as future health professionals.

Executive Dean's message
I am pleased to share that the Faculty of Sciences, Engineering and Technology has achieved outstanding results from the mid-year Student Experience of Learning and Teaching survey. Across all the Schools, a significant number of courses exceed the University’s expectation standards for overall experience in student course evaluations, doing so consistently, year after year.
Australia Awards Fellowship
From 28 July to 8 August, the University of Adelaide proudly hosted 15 fellows from SET international partner institutions as part of the Australia Awards Fellowship Program, delivered in collaboration with Professional and Continuing Education (PACE). Read more.

It’s not uncommon for Brooke Zabrowarny to smash out multiple live performances in packed theatres over a weekend, then find herself at home - in full stage makeup and hair - cooking a Sunday night roast and considering Monday’s to-do list for her role in the Vice-Chancellor’s Office.

I am so pleased to launch the latest edition of Lumen magazine today. Lumen began as a staff newsletter in 1972, and has evolved across a number of different formats over the previous five decades.
Biodiversity matters
This collaborate event features a panel discussion including Deputy Premier of SA The Hon Susan Close, South Australian of the Year Tim Jarvis AO, Young South Australian of the Year Tiahni Adamson, Jill Collins, and Professor Andrew Lowe Director of the Environment Institute. University of Adelaide Farewell Event
From 3 – 6pm on Friday 28 November, all staff from our three campuses are invited to come together to celebrate the University’s rich history and our bright future.
