Revised policies
The revised Academic Integrity Policy, Academic Progress by Coursework Students Policy, Modified Arrangements for Coursework Assessment (MACA) Policy, Student Misconduct Policy have been approved by the Vice-Chancellor and President on 6 June 2024, becoming effective from 22 July 2024, for the commencement of Semester 2, 2024.
Course development for Adelaide University
In August, staff across the University of South Australia and the University of Adelaide will begin work on the next phase of curriculum development for Adelaide University. This phase, Part Three: Course Development, extends until December 2027, and will see more than 1500 colleagues develop the content for Adelaide University’s new courses and programs.

Adelaide University brand – Guidelines for use
Now that Adelaide University has launched, you will start to see the new logo and brand used to promote the new university. To help staff understand where and when the new brand can be used, we have developed a set of Brand Guidelines, including resources like email signature templates, to ensure the appropriate use of Adelaide University's brand and provider numbers (CRICOS/TEQSA) in your daily activity.

Adelaide University staff event recording and campus pop-ups
Last Monday’s event was a significant moment for staff across both the University of Adelaide and the University of South Australia to collectively mark the launch of Adelaide University. New Adelaide University branded lanyards were provided to staff at the Convention Centre event and will be distributed across our campuses for those who couldn’t attend. If you missed it or want to revisit the event, the recording of the formalities is available via the AU interim staff intranet.

2024 Distinguished Public Policy Fellow award
Professor Sarah Wheeler (School of Economics and Public Policy) was awarded the 2024 Distinguished Public Policy Fellow award for her work on water and agricultural policy in Australia.

Library webinars
The University Library is offering a weekly 30-minute webinar series in semester 2 for students and staff interested in building their fundamental library skills. Webinars will run each Wednesday, 11.30 am to 12 pm, during teaching weeks. For more information and to register, visit the webpage.
Student experience survey
The University is participating in the 2024 Student Experience Survey. We have an important role to play in promoting the survey to raise awareness amongst our students. Teaching staff are encouraged to include the PowerPoint slide at the end of their lectures throughout August. More information.
Building a program of research
If you are struggling to define your research focus, or looking for ways to evolve your existing research program in the right direction, this webinar featuring Professor Sharon Parker (Curtin University) will set the scene around how to plan for and implement a successful research program. Adelaide Education Academy membership
The Adelaide Education Academy recognises and supports outstanding educators at the University and fosters a strong community for teachers to network and share practices. Applications are now open to all teaching academics, submit your application by Friday 26 July.
