Every year since 1975, National NAIDOC Week has been held across Australia from Sunday to Sunday in the first week of July.
Adelaide University staff event reminder
We are only a week away from our first in-person all staff event to collectively reflect on the significant progress made to date and to celebrate as we launch Adelaide University to the world. More than 3000 staff from the University of Adelaide and University of South Australia have registered to attend the event held simultaneously at the Adelaide Convention Centre, Mount Gambier, Roseworthy, and Whyalla campuses, and online. Event details for each location are provided.
Co-creating an Employer Brand for Adelaide University
The People and Culture Domain is commencing work to develop a differentiated and distinctive employer brand that will be aligned to the brand of the new University. The employer brand will encompass the values, culture, reputation, workplace environment and overall employee experience that Adelaide University will offer current and potential employees. Staff from both UniSA and the University of Adelaide are invited to contribute to the development of the employer brand through one of three focus groups.

Australian research funding landscape
This webinar provides an overview of the Australian research funding landscape, including the large competitive grant schemes, smaller grants, prizes and awards, as well as industry funded research opportunities. It will also provide early career researchers with tips and tricks to find appropriate funding sources to support their research. Wednesday 31 July, 1–2 pm. Register.
Commendations Award Writing Workshop
This workshop will include insights from an assessor, how to sharpen your narrative and writing in the reflective style - plus time for Q&A. Please read the information about eligibility, categories, selection criteria and application elements beforehand. Friday 9 August, 10 am to 12 pm. Course review reporting tool
The new Course Review Reporting Tool supports academic staff with documenting, reporting, and sharing their course reviews via an online platform with a report repository and approval workflow. Visit Course Reviews for guidance on undertaking reviews. More information.
