Monday Morning Mile has moved to the Fitness Hub
The Monday Morning Mile has moved to the new Fitness Hub on Level 4 Union House, North Terrace campus. Take part and unlock 30 minutes of free access in the Fitness Hub for a 1.6km treadmill run. More information.

Teaching Review Program - round 2 now open
The Teaching Review Program has been designed to provide evidence in support of staff applications for individual University teaching awards, academic promotion, or conversion to education specialist appointments. Applications for Round 2 are now open until Friday 14 June. More information. Staff applying for TRP in Round 2, 2024 and looking ahead to Round 1, 2025 are encouraged to participate in a Peer Review of Teaching Information Session. Tuesday 16 July, 10–11 am. Online. Register.

Privacy Impact Assessment
Under the Privacy Policy, activities that involve the handling of personal information must take privacy risks into account. A Privacy Impact Assessment form has been developed to help identify and manage privacy risks. The form is legally required if the activity involves high privacy risk. Updated Procedures under the Privacy Policy
The Privacy Management Plan, Data Breach Response Plan, and Student Privacy Statement have been reviewed and approved with updates, and are effective immediately. These operate under the Privacy Policy. The updates include requirements for the University's handling of certain personal data under the European Union General Data Protection Regulations.

PeopleSoft HR upgrade
PeopleSoft HR will undergo a maintenance upgrade between 8 pm Friday 31 May and 9 am Monday 3 June. PeopleSoft HR and Staff Services Online, including casual timesheets, will be unavailable during this time. Please clear your browser cache if you experience any issues after the upgrade is complete.

These awards recognise outstanding contributions made to student learning by academic and professional staff, and reward the University’s highest achievers in teaching, support of teaching, and supervisory practices. Prestigious European Award
Emeritus Professor Mark Bartold AO was recently awarded the European Federation of Periodontology’s (EFP) International Eminence in Periodontology Award. This award is the highest honour bestowed by the EFP with only two other recipients in its history.
