Staff and Students are reminded to use the HSW Service Portal for any request related to safety at the University. Use the portal to ask for on-site assistance with risk assessments, choice of controls, compliance with HSW procedures or any other safety advice.

Doing co-design: fostering community engagement and research impact
This workshop introduces participants to the principles, processes and practices of co-design and its relevance for research collaboration, partnerships, and creative outputs. The workshop includes practical examples of where co-design works well through exploring case studies of community based participatory research. Provost's message

This Friday, the 17th of May, is IDAHOBIT, the International Day Against LGBTQIA+ Discrimination. This date commemorates the anniversary the World Health Organisation removed homosexuality from the International Classification of Diseases in 1990. Prior to this, homosexuality was classified globally as a mental illness.

Research and Research Training Domain virtual town hall reminder
We would like to remind staff that the Research and Research Training Domain is holding a virtual town hall on Thursday 9 May from 3–4 pm via Zoom. This event is open to all staff who are interested in staying informed on key research activities leading up to our transition to the new Adelaide University. We will share updates on core areas of focus and provide you with an opportunity to ask questions in an open Q&A. Please register for the virtual town hall to receive the Zoom link.
