Strategic Conference Round 1 Applications announced

Round 1 outcomes of the Strategic Conference Sponsorship Fund have been announced. Five conferences across all three Faculties were selected to be supported. The conferences selected are listed on the website. There will be a second application round opening in July.

Shaping our signature research themes

The Research and Research Training Domain is holding a virtual town hall on Thursday 9 May from 3:00 – 4:00 pm via Zoom. This event is open to all staff who are interested in staying informed on key research activities leading up to our transition to the new Adelaide University. We will share updates on core areas of focus and provide you with an opportunity to ask questions in an open Q&A.

Town hall recordings now available and reminder to contribute to discussion paper

Thank you to everyone who attended one of the recent virtual staff town halls hosted by the co-Vice Chancellors. We covered some significant matters relating to the transition to Adelaide University, including a potential high-level functional structure for Adelaide University and potential approaches for the transfer of employment of staff to the new institution.

Developing Positive Partnerships Program

Applications are now open for the 2024 Developing Positive Partnerships Program Scholarship, for high-potential early-career and mid-career academics. Participants will build skills and confidence to meaningfully engage with external partners, expand their networks and enhance research impact. Applications close Monday 20 May. More information.

Getting started with HPC using Slurm

High-performance computing allows you to accomplish your analysis faster by using many parallel CPUs and huge amounts of memory simultaneously. This live online training provides a hands-on introduction to running your analysis on HPC infrastructure using Slurm. Tuesday 7 and Wednesday 8 May, 9.30 am to 12.30 pm. Register.
