The University runs hundreds of events each year ranging in scale, profile, and complexity. The Division of External Engagement has developed the events services catalogue to provide you with all the tools, information, and guidance to help make your next event a success. The Division may provide further event support, only in the circumstance where the event meets the criteria.

The Library’s new CaRST accredited Systematic Review Fundamentals MyUni course provides all staff and students with 24/7 self-paced guidance on conducting reviews with a focus on troubleshooting literature search strategies. Enrol now.

New all-gender amenities

A large all-gender bathroom, female toilets, and accessible toilets have opened on the ground floor of Union House. Alternative gendered bathrooms in the nearby George Murray and Lady Symon buildings remain open. The entrance via the UniBar will be open during 9 am to 7 pm during weekdays. A new entrance will be under construction during the mid-year break and once complete, will be open from 7 am to 7 pm with swipe card access after-hours.

Academic promotion to Level D closing date

Academic staff wishing to apply for promotion to Level D, must submit their online applications by Monday 24 June, 5 pm. To apply and for further information visit the Academic Promotions website.

Makie's story

Makie's story

Makie, a Bachelor of Veterinary Bioscience student, faced a significant blow to her health and savings when she was kicked by a horse at work. Give now to the Student Emergency Fund which allowed Makie to heal and recover after receiving lacerations to her liver and kidney. Read more.

Review of the Bachelor of Information Technology

The University is currently undertaking a Review of the Bachelor of Information Technology. Education Quality invites staff to make a submission on matters relevant to the Terms of Reference. Submissions can be uploaded to the online form until Friday 12 July, 5 pm. More information.

Read and Publish journal selector tool now available

Make use of the University's Read and Publish agreements to publish open access without needing to pay individual article processing charges. Access the Library’s Read and Publish journal selector tool to search for journals included in the agreements. The next Read and Publish webinar is Wednesday 19 June, 11 am. Online.

Children's University Quiz Night

Registrations are now open for this half day event focused on the theme Meaningful approaches to learning and teaching in the age of AI. Friday 14 June, 9.30 am to 1.30 pm, Flentje Lecture Theatre, North Terrace campus. Livestream the plenary from 9.30–10.45 am. Program and registration details.
