The home stretch

It is the home stretch! There are only a few weeks left of semester and then the final exam period. This is the final leg of the race, and getting up for an early class or staying up late for an assignment can send me into a bit of a slump. However, there are a few things I tell my self to stay motivated during these last few weeks and the exam period.

You’ll miss it when it’s over

The holiday period is always a great time for me, but sometimes I can’t help but miss life around university. The union events, the socialising and yes, even the late-night last-minute assignments. When I’m facing the final few weeks of semester I can find it overwhelming and get down right sick of it. However, I try to remind myself of all of the fun things I do during semester and to take the good with the bad, it’s all a part of the experience.

You can do it!

There are only a few weeks left! I can still get the marks I want or need and use the final push to give it my all. I can sometimes get disheartened by unsatisfactory grades throughout the semester but the final few weeks are chance to make up for it and secure a solid mark. It is a great opportunity to be able to study and I try to remind myself to make the most of it and give it my all.
