IndoDairy goes down under

In November 2019, the Australian Centre for International Agricultural Research (ACIAR) supported a tour of the Queensland dairy industry to develop the knowledge and capabilities of seven Indonesian researchers involved with the IndoDairy project.

Participants included six early- to mid-career researchers (EMCRs), and a senior scientist within a longstanding ACIAR in-country institution, the Indonesian Centre for Animal Research and Development (ICARD).

Through close interaction and engagement with Australian dairy farmers and industry experts, the participants were able to get a ‘grass-to-glass’ view of the Australian dairy value chain and learn about new developments in dairy research, development and extension (RD&E).

The interview (in Bahasa) with Pak Endang, Vyta Hanifah, Rio Fauzan and Muhammad Fauzi told the Cairns community about the IndoDairy project and the roles each of them play.
