Mathematics IB

As the University of Adelaide transitions to Adelaide University, we are committed to providing academic learning support to students.

There is still face-to-face Drop-In support for maths learning from 5th January, with a zoom option to be made ready soon after that. Information will be available from the Adelaide University Student Portal as soon as possible.

This website and its various resources will be available until March 2026. A new resources hub will be created for Adelaide University across 2026 and will be accessible via the Adelaide University Student Portal.

If you have any questions or need assistance, please contact Student Assist by email, phone 1300 877 903 or simply drop in to your nearest Student Assist  office.

Preparation and study skills

The University of Adelaide course Mathethematics IA covers the content that is assumed knowledge for Mathematics IB. The MLC has resources for Maths IA which you can use to revise this assumed knowledge. We recommend particularly focusing on integration and span, linear independence and subspaces.

Also, this seminar page has two seminars covering how to study for a course that has an exam.
