Pedestrian delays due to Adelaide University television commercial
Please expect pedestrian delays on North Terrace campus on Thursday 28 November, from 4.30 am to 7 pm, and Friday 29 November from 6 am to 7 pm, due to a TV commercial shoot for Adelaide University. Exclusion zones include Bonython Hall, the front of Elder Hall, the Mitchell Building, and the Maths and Goodman Lawns. All buildings will remain accessible, but there may be delays, so allow enough time to get to meetings.

Teaching Review Program
The Teaching Review Program has been designed to provide evidence in support of staff applications for individual University teaching awards, academic promotion, or conversion to education specialist appointments. Applications for round 1 in 2025 are now open. Visit the website for more information and to apply. Apply before Friday 31 January 2025.
Best wine education provider
Jill Bauer (School of Agricultural Science) has received the Best Wine Education Provider award and Syuzanna Mosikyan received Best Wine Student at the 2024 Wine Communicator Awards. Read more.
Hub Central Level 4 roof works
Hub Central Level 4 is undergoing roof works from Monday 25 November for four weeks. It is business as usual for the food court, student kitchen, and The Store, although the study area is closed. For more information, email mark.hemsley@adelaide.edu.au or phone 8313 0442.
ATM removal from North Terrace campus
The Commonwealth Bank has removed the ATM from Hub Central. The Australia Post outlet located behind Elder Hall can provide most ATM banking facilities as an alternative and is open from 9 am to 5 pm on University days.
Read and Publish agreements
The caps on the Springer Nature, Wiley, and Taylor & Francis Read and Publish agreements have now been reached, and no further open access publishing using these agreements will be possible in 2024. 2024 AmCham Alliance Award in Artificial Intelligence
Professor Simon Lucey (Australian Institute for Machine Learning) has been awarded the 2024 AmCham Alliance Award in Artificial Intelligence. These awards recognise and celebrate the next generation of Australian and American pioneers on the technological frontiers, creating economic prosperity and building people-to-people engagement in the alliance.

Expressions of Interest
The Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Access Pathway provides an alternative entry pathway for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people who are inspired to achieve success through tertiary education at the University. We are currently seeking expressions of interest from academics from all faculties to participate in interview panels between Monday 20 to Friday 31 January 2025.
