Pro Vice-Chancellor's message

This week, Australians will vote on whether to recognise Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the First Peoples of Australia, through a First Nations Voice enshrined in our Constitution.
A spotlight on research
The combined university, if created, would work across the full value chain of research – from discovery to translation and commercialisation. Research will be multi-disciplinary, partnered and dynamically informed by the state’s evolving economic and social priorities.
ACSPRI research training courses

Awards for Adelaide Dental School
PhD candidate Sonia Nath and Honours student Vanessa Burns (Adelaide Dental School) both had success in the Colgate Research Awards at the Australia/New Zealand Division of the International Association for Dental Oral and Craniofacial Research annual conference in Sydney last week.
Children’s University members hands-on experiences

The University of Adelaide’s North Terrace Campus recently came alive with excitement as it played host to students from four Children’s University (CU) partner schools during our inaugural on-campus experience day.

2023 Corporate cup
The DASE Teams ER-ratic and Couch Potatoes Can Only Run Sofa were formed by previous participants of the Corporate Cup and ran a total of 273km across the 5 rounds, improving their overall fitness and partaking in some friendly office competition.
AV asset refresh: North Terrace campus
Projectors and projector screens in these North Terrace campus rooms, have now been upgraded and are ready for use: Barr Smith South (1062, 1063, 2032 and 2040), Darling West (G14), Ingkarni Wardli (B17 and B18), Lower Napier (LG29) and Napier (102 and G04).
Women in leadership mentoring program
The University is participating in the 4th cohort of the Asia Pacific Women in Leadership Mentoring Program, which officially begins on Monday 6 November. Professor Kerry Wilkinson and Associate Professor Tania Crotti and our two mentors, and Associate Professor Zohra Lassi and Dr Esma Dogramaci are our two mentees.
Printer technicians onsite
From Monday 9 October all network printers across the University are scheduled to be assessed by an external provider. You may notice a technician in your workspace as they perform due diligence. They will be accompanied by an ITDS Staff member. Please allow access to printers in your building to support this routine check.
Non-allowable Expenses Procedures
The University’s financial contribution to end of year functions has been revised and amended in the Non-allowable Expenses Procedures.
