The Images of Learning and Teaching competition highlights innovation at the University of Adelaide. View this year's submissions at the Festival of Learning and Teaching event and on Level 4 of the Hub from Tuesday 31 October. Voting for the People's Choice Award winner will open online on Monday 30 October.

PeopleSoft Campus Solutions upgrade

On Sunday 29 October, the PeopleSoft Campus Solutions System will undergo a planned maintenance upgrade and will be unavailable between 8am and 9am. It is recommended not to plan any significant activities that involve ITDS services during this time to minimise potential disruptions. More information.

ACSPRI research training courses

The University of Adelaide is member of the Australian Consortium for Social and Political Research Incorporated (ACSPRI), which offers a range of practical courses in qualitative and quantitative methods at discounted rates for our staff and students. More information.

Mental Health First Aid refresher training

A refresher course is available on Wednesday 6 December for staff who have completed a full two-day mental health first aid course and the accreditation assessment within the last three years. To check your eligibility visit the MHFA website. For registration and further information email mhfa@adelaide.edu.au.

AV Asset Refresh Project

As part of work being done to maintain excellence in learning and teaching, cameras in common teaching areas across the Waite, Roseworthy and North Terrace campuses will be upgraded between 25 October and 22 December.

On track to market

To support the transition to a potential new Adelaide University, key enabling capabilities must be established, which includes a critical path to market by mid-2024 ready to commence operations in January 2026.

Building workplace connectedness

This 75 minute session will cover the research behind workplace connectedness and will provide steps for how to build connectedness through a specific set of skills and behaviours. Providing benefits for your team including greater group cohesion, improved communication and enhanced wellbeing. Monday 30 October, 12.15–1.30 pm. Register.

Getting started with NVivo for Windows

If your research has you working with unstructured and non-numerical data, NVivo is becoming the preferred tool for many researchers with the ability to collect, store and analyse different data types all in one location. This introductory workshop will help you get started with NVivo for Windows. Wednesday 8 November, 9.30 am to 12.30 pm. Register.
