ITDS Planned Core Infrastructure Upgrade
On Saturday 14 October, ITDS will be conducting major work on core infrastructure. Whilst there is no planned outage, it is recommended not to plan any significant activities that involve ITDS services on this date to minimise potential disruptions. Safe Work Month competition
As part of Safe Work Month, enter the Hazard Hunt Competition. First-time users of the UniSafe mobile app reporting a health and safety hazard and attaches a photo, could win a $100 gift card from the University merchandise store in the Hub. More information.
Psychology program concept design takes off
The Curriculum domain is making significant progress as it ramps up key priorities. A foundational activity within the domain is the launch of a program design pilot, which is being undertaken by the Psychology discipline.

National Safe Work month
October is Safe Work Month and is themed ‘For everyone’s safety, work safely’. Human Resources will be running and promoting a series of events throughout the month to raise awareness and efforts to create a safe and mentally healthy workplace. Australia-Indonesia Institute Grant Round 2023-24
Applications are now open for grants up to $50,000 per year to support continuity in people-to-people and institutional engagement between Australia and Indonesia across sectors for broad access and impact opportunities. Closing 26 October, 12 pm. More information.

Mental Health Awareness Month
The theme for October is #MentalHealthAlly encouraging active support and advocacy for individuals who are faced with mental health challenges. Staff are invited to use the email signature during this time and to visit the website to find out what is happening on campus this mental health month.
Safety advice in the workplace
The HSW Advisory team regularly attend all campuses. To request a member of the team to see you when they are onsite, email hswteam@adelaide.edu.au. This is the quickest way for supervisors and workers to be informed of hazard management and compliance requirements. Remember to report all safety issues in UniSafe.
Wellbeing Room during Safe Work month
