Mailroom relocation
The University Mailroom is relocating from the ground floor of the Kenneth Wills building to a temporary mailroom in Darling G25 from Monday 22 September. This move is to facilitate expansion of the Security Office. You can access the new mailroom from the southern entrance of the Darling building via the stairs or access ramp. Further information.

2025 Spirit Awards
The Waite Gin has received a gold medal at the 2025 Tasting Australia Spirit Awards. Additionally, the Waite Winery team's first release of Waite Brandy received silver. Read more.

AU Research Ethics and Compliance Committee roles expression of interest
As we move towards the establishment of Adelaide University, academic staff are invited to submit an Expression of Interest for the roles of Chair or Deputy Chair on the University’s research ethics and compliance committees: two higher-risk Human Research Ethics Committees (HREC), three Animal Ethics Committees (AEC), and one Institutional Biosafety Committee (IBC). Further details including the Duty Statements and committee Terms of Reference are available via the PageUp Platform. Applications for these roles close at 11:59pm, Sunday 14 September.

Research and Research Training Domain Town Hall
The next Research and Research Training Domain Town Hall will be held from 2:30pm - 3:30pm on Wednesday 1 October 2025. Join us for this online session where we will introduce some of our newly appointed leaders in the Research Services and Graduate Research functions. We’ll also update you on the latest work that is underway on research grant applications, Graduate Research Student recruitment and transition, and how our new Adelaide University Signature Research Theme Strategies will be led. Here for Good Sustainability Strategy - responsible investment progress
The University has made significant progress in its commitment to divest from direct investments and commingled funds that include public equities and corporate bonds of companies whose core business involves owning or exploiting fossil fuel reserves (defined as earning more than 10% of revenue from these activities). Currently, 99.95% of the University’s investments meet these criteria. Only one remaining fund does not yet comply with the University’s investment screening process. English Language Centre National awards

At the English Australia conference, held in Brisbane in the last week of August, the English Language Centre were awarded four out of the eight available national awards. Read more.
