Deputy Vice-Chancellor's message
I’ve recently returned to the University as DVCA, and I was so pleased that my return coincided neatly with graduations on the North Terrace campus. Seeing graduates celebrating with their family and friends is the clearest reminder there is about the value of our work, and the important role that higher education plays in transforming lives.
Silver Jubilee staff reception
A special event was held on Friday 3 October to acknowledge the commitment, achievements and efforts of staff who have dedicated 25 years of service to the University. Celebrating our colleagues: Yanyan Hong
Newly conferred PhD graduate Dr Yanyan Hong talks about her rewarding academic journey with us, her passion for volunteering, and sources of inspiration. “Bite every opportunity while you still have teeth,’’ she grins. “Stay positive, keep smiling, if you don’t succeed at first try again – and learn something each time so you can do better.’’
Like your bike?
If you like your bike and want to keep it, please make sure you store it securely before leaving it on campus. Bike thefts are unfortunately a part of life in the city, but you can reduce the risk! Lock up your bike every time with a heavy duty D-Lock.
