The University of Adelaide is grateful to have a number of donors from across the world.
- Residents of Canada
The University of Adelaide is prescribed as a 'university outside Canada' with Canada's Revenue Agency. The University's donation receipt may be used by Canadian donors to claim a non-refundable tax credit for Canadian income tax purposes.
- Residents of United States of America
Donors in the US may be eligible for a tax deduction through the British Schools and Universities Foundation (BSUF) Approved Institutions list.
- Who are the BSUF?
The British Schools and Universities Foundation (BSUF) has served as a catalyst for tax efficient funding by USA taxpayers of educational, literary and scientific institutions in the British Commonwealth of Nations.
- Who is the University's BSUF Representative?
The BSUF requires an approved institution to nominate a representative who resides in the US, and who will be the main contact point for the BSUF and its prospective supporters. The University has nominated Ms Silvia Schwarz, a former staff member and graduate, as its representative.
- How do I make a donation through the BSUF?
Credit card donation
To make a donation by credit card to the University of Adelaide that qualifies for a USA tax deduction, go to the BSUF website, click "donate", then "credit cards", and follow the instructions.
BSUF Donor Form
Please download and complete the BSUF donor form and forward with your donation to the University's BSUF representative, as noted on the form.

- Residents of Singapore
We currently do not have a charitable foundation in Singapore however you can still support Singaporean students by donating to the Singapore Adelaide Alumni Fund.
- Residents of the United Kingdom
We currently do not have a charitable foundation set up in the United Kingdom but we hope to have one set up very soon. Please email us to receive updates on this as they become available.
