ITDS planned upgrade
On the weekend dates of 9, 10 and 16 September, ITDS will conduct major works on core infrastructure. Whilst there is no planned outage for these, it is recommended that staff do not plan any significant activities that involve ITDS services on these dates to minimise possible disruptions. For further support, please log a ticket via the MyIT Portal.

School holiday program
Book your kids into the Adelaide University Sport School Holiday Program. Sports include tennis, badminton, soccer, basketball, gymnastics, cricket, football and more. Running over two weeks beginning Tuesday 3 to Friday 6 and Monday 9 to Thursday 12 October.

Eureka prize winners

Cutting-edge medical research carried out at the University has been awarded prizes for excellence in the prestigious 2023 Australian Museum Eureka Prizes. Two projects won awards for innovative medical imaging techniques to help treat children with cystic fibrosis and for the improved diagnosis of endometriosis using artificial intelligence. Read more.
Awards for innovative measurement achievements

The Atomic Clock Team, represented by Dr Rachel Offer (Institute for Photonics and Advanced Sensing), has won the NMI Measurement Impact award for measurement-related achievements demonstrating real-world impact. Dr Zhiwei Sun won the Measurement Achievement Encouragement Award for measurement-related achievements by early to mid-career professionals. More information.

Adelaide University Childcare Services board member
The Adelaide University Childcare Services Inc. (AUCS) is seeking expressions of interest from staff to fulfill one of the University appointed roles. National AAACP Conference awards

Researchers from the Adelaide Medical School have been recognised for their research excellence at the 2023 Australasian Association for Academic Primary Care Conference in Melbourne. Professor Nigel Stocks was awarded the prestigious Charles Bridges-Webb Medal, and Research Fellow Dr Carla Bernardo was awarded the North American Primary Care Research Group (NAPRG) Distinguished Paper award.
