Culture Survey: Thank you – that’s a wrap!
Our first cross institutional Culture Survey closed last week, after a three-week period when staff were encouraged to provide their feedback.

Pay Equity Report
The University commits to monitoring and reporting on pay equity. The reporting framework consists of quarterly reporting to the Vice-Chancellor’s Executive, University Council (via People and Culture Committee), and a summary report to staff. The latest Pay Equity Report for Q4 2023 is available to all staff.
A new security feature in Box
When opening a file in Box, and it contains Personally Identifiable Information (PII) you will see a PII tag “Class 3 PII” alongside your file name. PII is information like name, address, credit card number etc. You can still access the file. More security features are coming. More information.
Windows 11 now available
Windows 11 has commenced being rolled out across the University. Staff can now request to upgrade their University computer to the new Windows 11 operating system. New staff computers ordered from March 2024 will have Windows 11 pre-installed. More information.
Print and Promo Suppliers
The University has now signed with two additional suppliers for print and promotional goods, which expands the current list to four companies; Outback Global, Position Promo, The Adelaide Store and Winc. You can find out more information and contact details by visiting the Marketing website.
New and Improved “UofA Guest” Network
The “UofA Guest” WiFi network will be upgraded from Sunday 17 March, as part of our network modernisation work. This will allow for a simpler and quicker self-registration process while providing an improved internet connection. More information and support.

Using WiFi is the most common way to connect to the internet, however an unsecure connection can expose your device to cyber threats such as identify theft, malware attacks and more. Click here to find out more about protecting yourself while out and about.
