Ready to talk research?
The Research & Research Training Domain will be hosting a virtual town hall on Wednesday 7 February 2024 from 3:30pm – 5:00pm via Zoom, which is open to all staff who are interested in the progress of key activities and planning of future-focused research of scale and focus at the new Adelaide University. Curriculum moves along the critical path
The Curriculum Domain are progressing several critical path activities as we work towards creation of the new Adelaide University. The 13 program development groups have started program concept design (part 1) and are nearing finalisation of their program suite proposals ahead of peer review, where cognate disciplines will explore the proposed outputs and ensure alignment to the ambition of the new university and agreed curriculum architecture.
MTAA Women in MedTech Champion Award
Dr Katharina Richter (Institute for Photonics and Advanced Sensing) is the winner of the Women in MedTech Champion Award, presented to a leader for advancing the Women in MedTech's mission or goals to actively support women entering or advancing within the industry.
University preferred eCommerce solutions
Humanitix is a third party eCommerce solution designed for event registration and payment which may be used where the online shop is not suitable. Eventbrite will no longer be supported by the University after Friday 26 January 2024. More information.
Adelaide-Nottingham Alliance Partnership Seed Fund Program
The Adelaide-Nottingham Alliance (ANA) Partnership Seed Fund Program aims to encourage and develop high-quality research and education collaboration between our University and the University of Nottingham. The 2024 round opens Monday 15 January. To assist you in developing initiatives, please refer to the Program Guidelines.

Portable Atomic Clock commendation

The Portable Atomic Clocks team led by Professor Andre Luiten received a commendation from the Chief Defence Scientist Tanya Monro AC for their exceptional performance at the Alternative Position, Navigation and Timing (APNT) challenge event as part of the Rim of the Pacific military exercises.
Okta multi-factor authentication
As a part of ongoing work ITDS is doing to improve the security and safety of our systems, Okta MFA will soon be integrated with Unispace Maps (SISFM), as an element of a broader upgrade of the app. More information.
