Publishing open access using Read and Publish agreements
The University Library will present this 30-minute webinar which covers the benefits of publishing open access, outlines the fifteen discounted publisher agreements and details how to publish without paying article processing charges. There will be an opportunity to answer your questions. Thursday 8 June, 1-1.30 pm. Online. Register.

Enterprise Agreement - Information sessions

STEM Career Pathways survey

A pivotal major survey to gather powerful new insights on STEM careers to inform policy has been launched by the nation’s peak body for the science, technology, engineering and mathematics sector.
ACOLA Survey
The Australian Council of Learned Academies (ACOLA) and the Academy of the Social Sciences in Australia are seeking the views of researchers in Australia. Research staff are invited to have their say on how research assessment practices in universities, government departments and agencies, not for profits, and the private sector shape research careers and how such practices influence researchers’ choices and priorities. Complete the survey by Monday 12 June.

FAME Sustainability Strategy
The FAME (Foci And Magnets for Excellence) Sustainability Strategy has launched and is aimed at developing and accelerating solutions that deliver sustainability, equity and prosperity for the planet and its people, underpinned by breakthrough research. A new internal grants scheme is available for this FAME Strategy.

Elder Conservatorium of Music

Member cities of the UNESCO Cities of Music Network collaborated for this year's International Day of Jazz on April 30. Led by Mark Ferguson, Adelaide's performance featured recent graduates and current students from the Elder Conservatorium's jazz program. The video had a world premier on the UNESCO Cities of Music website.
