Undergraduate and postgraduate students

  • Domestic fee-paying students

All domestic students studying in a full fee paying place (not a Commonwealth supported place) are required to pay their tuition fees by the due date on their invoice. Where Domestic Fee-Paying students are unable to pay their fees by the due date, are not eligible for FEE-HELP and they are in genuine financial hardship, they may apply to pay their tuition fees by instalment.

Please note: Instalment contracts are only available to students enrolled in Semesters or Trimesters due to administrative processes and compliance timeframes. Applications for any other study periods will not be accepted.

To be considered for this option, domestic fee-paying students must meet all of the following criteria:

    • The student must be enrolled in a full-fee paying place (not a Commonwealth supported place) in a University of Adelaide award program
    • Not be eligible for FEE-HELP
    • Have paid all previous tuition fees
    • Be in genuine short-term financial hardship caused by circumstances beyond the student’s control
    • Have completed at least one semester of study and not be a commencing student
    • Lodge the application on or before the specified closing date
  • International students

All international students are required to pay their tuition fees by the due date on their invoice. Where international students are unable to pay their fees by the due date and they are in genuine financial hardship, they may apply to pay tuition fees by instalment.

Please note: Instalment contracts are only available to students enrolled in Semesters or Trimesters due to administrative processes and compliance timeframes. Applications for any other study periods will not be accepted.

To be considered for this option, you must meet all of the following criteria:

    • Be a fee-paying student enrolled in a University of Adelaide Academic Award program
    • Have paid all previous tuition fees
    • Be in genuine short-term financial hardship caused by circumstances beyond the student’s control
    • Have completed at least one semester of study and NOT be a commencing student
