For each of the specific hazards of fire and explosion, dangerous goods, electricity and confined spaces the following will be covered: basic concepts, definitions, terminology, nature of hazards; relevant legislation and standards; prevention and control measures; and emergency planning and response. The course will also look at specific high industry case studies (including mining, construction and farming).
