North Terrace Campus - Semester 1 - 2016

Students will undertake a series of 4 hour lectures for 8 weeks at University and one 5 week full time block of supervised teaching practice. Students who successfully complete the course are given a non-graded pass.

    Assessment of the Professional Experience is via Mentor Teachers in placement schools who are required to supervise and report on pre-service teacher engagement and learning while on placement. An interim report is complete at the half way point of the PE (around week 6). A final report is completed at the conclusion of the PE.

    This placement, along with Professional Experiences ll and lll, and the ePortfolio are capstone requirements of all students. In addition to Mentor Teacher Reports, Professional Experiences are reflected upon and documented in relation to the Graduate Level of the APST by all students in the ePortfolio. The ePortfolio is internally assessed by University Liaisons.
