PSYCHOL 7409 - Neuropsychology & Disability

The overall objective of this course is to introduce trainee clinical psychologists to the fields of clinical neuropsychology and disability. To this end, the nature and purposes of assessments in these contexts will be examined. In addition, students will be introduced to some of the congenital and acquired brain disorders that occur across the lifespan and the different methods of assessment that are used to measure the cognitive and behavioural deficits associated with these disorders.
