Course Learning Outcomes
At the completion of this course, students will be able to:
1 Characterise and describe fluid-particle systems in terms of their basic physical properties; 2 Predict the velocity of particles moving in a fluid as a function of particle characteristics (size, shape, deformability and concentrations) and fluid properties; and 3 Perform basic design calculations and analyses of typical fluid-particle operations and related industrial equipment.
