ITAL 1201 - Introductory Italian Part 1

Flinders University - Semester 1 - 2022

Please note that Italian is taught by Flinders University as part of an arrangement between the two Universities. Classes will be taught at either the Adelaide CBD (Victoria Square) or Bedford Park campus. Students must enrol in Italian courses cross-institutionally and refer to the Flinders University?s website for the timetable. Further information can be found at https://arts.adelaide.edu.au/flinders-language-enrolment. The course, which is designed for beginners in Italian, consists of language and culture classes. Emphasis is placed on the comprehension and use of spoken and written Italian, as well as aspects of Italian culture. The program, which pre-supposes regular attendance at all scheduled classes, and independent study outside of classes, includes both seminar-type instruction and conversation tutorials. Students are expected to participate interactively in a language-learning process where comprehension and communication skills, both written and oral, will be developed.

The University of Adelaide is committed to regular reviews of the courses and programs it offers to students. The University of Adelaide therefore reserves the right to discontinue or vary programs and courses without notice. Please read the important information contained in the disclaimer.
