MUSPFPED 4300B - Honours Pedagogy Major Dissertation Part 2

North Terrace Campus - Semester 2 - 2015

The primary purpose of the 12,000 word dissertation is to provide an opportunity for in-depth research in the specialisation of Performance and Pedagogy. Students will research, develop and review a dissertation which will focus on a suitable field associated with the teaching, learning and related processes involved in performance practice. The project will be written and presented according to normal scholarly conventions and standards and students are likely to undertake some research in instrumental teaching programs on and off campus. They will attend regular supervisions at which the development of the dissertation will be monitored and may attend Research Seminars from time to time to present their findings. Part-time students must undertake the course as an unbroken sequence.
