COMMERCE 4105 - Dissertation (H)

North Terrace Campus - Semester 2 - 2023

This course aims to develop in students a capacity to work independently under the guidance of their supervisor, to carry out research and to report the results in a formal document that demonstrates the ability to argue the case. Each student will prepare under supervision an individual research dissertation that exhibits original investigation, analysis and interpretation. Appointments with student and supervisor to be arranged, generally at least one hour per week of semester. The dissertation will be assessed by two examiners. Examiners will be selected from the University of Adelaide, other universities or from industry. Any external examiners should normally have substantial research experience in the area under investigation and be nationally recognised in the field. A student's supervisor may not be appointed as an examiner. The identity of the examiners should not be made known to the student.
