MEDICINE 2001A - Medicine Language and Learning II Part 1

North Terrace Campus - Semester 1 - 2017

Effective communication is essential to the successful practice of medicine. Spoken and written skills develop with use, with increasing insight into the ways in which these skills are used in the study and practice of Medicine and with success in interactions with others. Learning skills similarly develop over time and with practice and training. MBBS students have access to the Academic Language and Learning in Medicine program. This service is open to all students, regardless of whether or not English is their first language. Student learning in this program is supported by small group sessions.
