COMMGMT 2510 - Client Relationships and the Role of Technology

North Terrace Campus - Semester 2 - 2019

With technology and artificial intelligence transforming the nature of work in the business and consumer environment by automating tasks, projections and probabilities, the nature of the interaction between business professionals and clients is undergoing profound change. Business professionals now need to be familiar with the intersecting and complementary components of the business environment and how to effect a new type of client relationship and value-add to core business. Employers require staff who are understand that their role goes well beyond the single transaction to a more holistic approach, and who are able to expand the client base by effecting value-added propositions; managing client expectations; negotiating expanded services; interacting with a diverse client profile; increasing referrals; identifying and customising client solutions.
