CHEM ENG 7105 - Materials Engineering for Catalysis

North Terrace Campus - Semester 2 - 2020

This course will introduce concepts around catalysis, to introduce traditional and advanced materials for catalytic applications. The materials covered includes metals, metal alloys, zeolites, metal oxides, microporous and mesoporous materials, and carbonaceous materials. The course should highlight the significance of catalyst materials engineering in modern society, and contextualise the selection of catalysts on the basis of their characteristics and end use applications.
