Course Learning Outcomes
On successful conpletion of this course, the students will be able to:
1. Understand legal, political, economic and ethical aspects of mining in Australia and overseas 2. Remember principles of sustainable development in the context of mining practices 3. Analyse leading practices in environmental management of mine site and evaluate their implementation 4 Create enviornmental management plan (EMP) 5. Understand corporate responsibility 6. Evaluate social/community impacts of mining and develop management strategies 7. Apply management theory and processes, including principal performance measures used in mine management

Student Feedback
The University places a high priority on approaches to learning and teaching that enhance the student experience.
