Kate Duryea works as a contract Lecturer in Charge. In 2019 Trimester 1 and 3 Kate is teaching Integrated Marketing Communications, a postgraduate subject and Marketing to the World in semester 2 (undergraduate).
In 2018 Kate taught postgraduate Developing Global Markets and undergraduate subject International Marketing III and tutored for Brand Management.
In 2017, 2016, 2015 and 2014 Kate taught Developing Global Markets and undergraduate subjects of Services Marketing and International Marketing III. She also taught Marketing Communications in Singapore (2016).
She has previously taught Introduction to Marketing in 2013.
Kate Duryea has extensive background in business. She worked for more than a decade as a journalist in Australia and overseas and then moved into public relations, marketing and marketing communications. She operated a successful business with national and international clients (2002 to 2013). She has also worked for private industry and in government entities encompassing work related to marine, tourism, event organisation and property sectors.
