Kate Duryea works as a contract Lecturer in Charge. In 2021 Kate is teaching Integrated Marketing Communications and Strategic Marketing, both postgraduate subjects. She is teaching Marketing to the World in semester 2 (undergraduate) and in Summer School. In Semester 1 she is teaching Driving Decisions New Venture Marketing.
While at The University of Adelaide she has taught: Integrated Marketing Communications, Strategic Marketing, Developing Global Markets. Undergraduate subjects include Marketing to the World, Services Marketing and Introduction to Marketing and Marketing Communications in Singapore.
Kate Duryea has extensive background in business. She worked for more than a decade as a journalist in Australia and overseas and then moved into public relations, marketing and marketing communications. She operated a successful business with national and international clients (2002 to 2013). She has also worked for private industry and in government entities encompassing work related to marine, tourism, event organisation and property sectors.
